Covid was responsible for a lot of Commercial airlines converting their aircrafts to freighters. The hope was that air transport would become competitive. Not accurate because they discovered more profits from hauling Cargo, instead of passengers.
Two Ocean Carriers introduced air Cargo service as well. CMA-CGM and MSC are using freighters and earning huge profits.
The only air cargo carriers to the Caribbean and South America are Amerijet and Caribbean Airlines. Our hope for 2023 is for better service and prices from our partners.
